Baudouin HEUNINCKX

Baudouin Heuninckx, PhD, DSc, is the Deputy Director Industry, Synergies & Enablers (ISE) and Head of Unit Industry Strategy & EU Policies at the European Defence Agency (EDA). Before that, he was successively Deputy Head of Procurement and Deputy National Armaments Director of the Belgian Armed Forces, and was Chairman of the Belgian inter-federal Public Procurement Commission. He also had an academic career at the University of Nottingham and at the Belgian Royal Military Academy, where he taught public procurement law and management. He has written numerous books and articles on public procurement, in particular in the fields of defence and security, and is a Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional (MCIPS).
